Playmat Fun

Feet up...

Hands in your mouth...

Look at the camera...

Snuggle...

Grayson loves to get down on the playmat with Finley, even if she barely fits. So this time I remembered to grab the camera. I just snapped away while they were playing and then made some funny noise to get them to look at the camera for the third shot. I know I blog it a bunch but they sure are sweet sisters.

Harper Came to Town!

Technically her and Aunt Kiki really came to see baby Luke Boone but we got some of the love along the way too. This was also in April. Again, better late than never. Harper was enthralled with Grayson. And Grayson was super excited about a baby reaching out for her to try to eat her face. I keep telling her it won't be long before Finley does the same (and keep thinking in my head that she probably won't like it as much when it happens all the time). Harper is about 2-ish months older than Finley. Kristin and I are certain they will be best friends like their mamas. Photo shoots trying to capture good shots of the little ones crack me up. Finley looks 'shocked' as Gray would say. Harper started upright and slowly made her way down the pillow by the end of the 5 minute session. Grayson couldn't quite figure out what to do with her (long) arms. Funny girls.

Our Little Monet

If I had to bet, Grayson spends an hour a day with her magna-doodle in her hand (either dragging it around or drawing on it . . . thanks Sassers, best gift ever). Here are some highlights.

Clockwise from top-left:

"Our Family" (big daddy, tall mama, grayson with pony tail, and short finley),
"Guy with 1.5 Ears"
"Ferris Wheel" (As I was walking out of the house to work one day, I told Grayson to draw me a ferris wheel. Mil said sometime later, she walked in and saw this on Gray's magna-doodle. Note this is mostly due to practice, not brilliance: it was only after I had already drawn her a minimum of 100 ferris wheels over the past month."
"All Arms and Legs"
